Hi, I’m Gina. And gift giving is my love language.
Picture this. I’m 10 years old with a little cash and a chicken scratch list from my dad. My
independent self takes the bus to the mall and examines every slipper section of every
department store to find just the right pair to match the Eileen West flannel nightgown I just
purchased. Then I scurry back down to JC Penney to pick out the perfect Chantilly perfume and
powder set before my bus transfer expires. I meticulously wrap each item and tie them up with
cohesive ribbons and bows. All the while imagining the joy on my mom’s face as she
unwraps her presents on Christmas morning. Spoiler alert: she still gets slippers every year.
My taste and execution have evolved over the years, but one thing remains the same – my
desire to create the perfect gift giving experience.
For years I’ve been the crafty friend, the gift wrapper, and the best custom gift basket maker in
town. I was all this in my “spare time” (and we laughed and we laughed and we laughed).
People would always ask if I could ship my baskets. Not to compromise the structure of
everything I placed so delicately inside, my answer was no. But there must be a way I can
share my talents with people outside my zip code, right?
And that’s how Arts & Crafts & Cocktails was born.
Pulling from my custom basket thought process, each box has been thoughtfully and
affectionately curated using inspiration from actual people in my life. That’s right, each box is
named after a real person*. It’s a big world out there – my hope is to connect all people,
whether your name is Adrienne or Paige, through the experience of gift giving.
